LA Kings Centre Anže Kopitar

LA Kings Anze Kopitar

Anže Kopitar. My favorite two-way forward. A three-time Bill Libby Memorial Award winner for team MVP, Kopi has spent his entire career with the LA Kings and has led the team in scoring for seven consecutive seasons – not bad for a centre.

Despite his power and size, he thrills fans with finesse and subtlety. Hat trick anyone?

Yup, there’s a lot to be said for a big man with soft hands.

So much of life is being in the right place at the right time. This is also true in the life of a sports fan. I have been lucky enough to be at a game where something really special happened and I got to witness it. Or, I was simply in the the right spot to get a snap of the LA Kings game-winning goal just before it went in.

As sports fans, these are moments we live for.

And, yes, this went in.

Just giving a little help to my favorite hockey team at Staples Center in Los Angeles ;-). Among other players, pictured here are LA Kings captain, 2011 NHL Foundation Player Award winner, Dustin Brown, and the best hockey player in the NHL, 2012 Conn Symthe Trophy winner, goaltender Jonathan Quick.
